Shes still very new. Only been around a couple years and JUST dropped a full length album this year. She will get her recognition very very soon. Gotta be patient. Blowing up too fast too early can make or break careers. But yeah every single song of hers is amazing. No doubting that. I would much rather her natural progression like this than her be everywhere after just one LP. Then theres too much expectation for the album. She has all the room to grow and experiment right now.

@@balladofahomeschooledboy0514 it’s not about “having it” whatever the heck that means. Olivia Rodrigo had a lot of financial backing, and marketing done for her singles and album. Plus she’s an actor, a lot of actors who get into music get money thrown at them and have solid contracts, not to mention already having a considerably large fan base. Remi Wolf isn’t lacking anything at all compared to Olivia Rodrigo, she just doesn’t seem to be getting into the game with an advantage/head start like Olivia Rodrigo did.

I honestly prefer her belting in this live performance to the less intense vocals on the studio track. Adds a new feel to the song and her vocals are still pretty spot on despite not having the polish that you can only get from a studio version. This would have made a good live recording to release on a streaming service

I'm a sixty year old African American male and although that's irrelevant in regards to some things. I thought that I would mention that just to illustrate a point. The point being that alot people who grew up during my era, thirst and salivate over the good old music that we used to listen to. And the cavalcade of wonderful artist both Black and White, Hispanic and every other culture or race that you can think of that were doing their thing during the time that we grew up. However I'm a lover of all music any kinda music like the O'Jays sung back then. And I been hearing this lately in this little spot that I go to and I completed love it. It's quirky and convoluted but the beat and her voice I extremely like. I could listen to this right along side the Whispers, Smokey Robinson and the Miracles or any of those super groups that my generation enjoyed and still in enjoy and come away from the situation just as satisfy.
