Honey, you think your house is a mess, but I don't see a mess. I see a mom who prioritizes her kids over the house. I don't think any mother can say anything is wrong with that. The amount of times this creeps up on so many of us, it just happens overnight it seems sometimes. You got this. You are truly an amazingly good human.

You explain mental stuff pretty well. The bit about ADD and leaving school work till the last minute and feeding off the rush to get it done, is me. My mother doesn't understand that. I grew up in a household where we had to deep clean every week. But cleaning was considered punishment. It wasn't presented as a healthy principle. So as I became an adult, I struggled with cleaning because I detested it. I would stay up latecleaning everyday and run the rest of the day on little to no sleep. I had to teach myself to clean through daily small tasks so that I wasn't overwhelmed at the end of the week. And that taking a break and knowing when you need rest is important as well. Remi, I appreciate you sharing your life and your mind with us. Your cleaning videos help me so much ❤!

Remi, it’s like you’ve got a hidden to my life and you’re telling my story on KZbin. I love watching your videos. I’m currently in a difficult situation where I need to sell my home and move in to take care of my elderly father. I’m so overwhelmed by the pressure to get my house (that’s unbelievably messy) cleaned, packed up and ready to be sell. There’s additional pressure that I can’t leave him for long periods. I feel like if I could afford it, I’d pay for everything it would take to get you over to the USA to coach me. Unfortunately that’s not an option. But it would be a tremendous help for you and all your followers to say a word of prayer for my family. It feels almost impossible to find a way out of this hole I’m in. I’m so thankful for you and your content. It’s more relatable than you’ll ever know. God Bless you, Remi!!

My mum accidentally got a kitchen bin that was far too small, so that we have to empty it at least once a day, often twice, because there's not much room in it. But it was a faff to replace it, so she just kept it 'for now'. Anyway, it turned out to be great and she hasn't gone back to a normal size bin, because nothing sits around long enough to smell!

I totally agree, it’s not often I see someone wide as vertically challenged as I am, lol. I have all the things she talks about, waiting mode, executive dysfunction etc etc and on top of that, about 14 years ago I had accidents and not live in a disability pension. What’s incredibly frustrating about it if that even when I get motivated there are some things I just have to avoid doing. I have to ask someone else to help but the only people I know (I don’t really have any friends) are my grown up kids and they’re too busy living their own lives so things sit undone and I feel like crap (mental health wise) about not being able to do them myself anymore.

Hi, Remi. Thank you for the video and for being so supportive of people with different ways of dealing with cleaning, etc. you are very knowledgeable and well spoken about helpful ways of dealing with stress. I think you may have missed your calling to be a counselor. ❤. How often do you/your partner water the orchids? Thank you!

I have this thing too, where I really need to be alone. Sometimes it works out and sometimes I had something planned. I've had to cancel plans before because I really couldn't do it and I'm so glad my friends understood. And sometimes I push through and go because I think I should make an effort for them, just to show them I care about them and it's exhausting but I also enjoyed time with my friends and made memories.

In this video you really helped me to understand my sister and why she is the way she is and how certain areas of her home become disaster areas so quickly. Best explanation I’ve ever heard.!!!❤️❤️❤️

I love how you explain the feelings behind the mess. Your voice and accent are so soothing. Small suggestion: What would it look like if you slowly started introducing small chores to your boys? Kids love the praise that comes along with picking up their blocks and things. They also get a sense of pride.

I love watching your videos they are so relatable and most of the time give me the boost to get up and the cleaning done especially when I've been putting it off all day 😀

Oh boy, you just read my mail! I really appreciate you so much! I am one of those recovering messies, who feels like I am having to work hard to learn how to turn my greatest flaw into a great strength. Because I think like you, you’re easy for me to learn from! Onward and upward! May God bless you abundantly today!🎉🎉

I'm super excited about your book, Remi! I already know that I want multiple copies so I can give them to a few friends. No pressure to get it done quickly, we'll enjoy it whether it's ready in 3 months or 3 years.

Thank you Remi!!!!! I have had a huge depression and housework is the last thing I want to do😮. I had started the kitchen the very day I saw this video, I was taking a break and saw you. I keep telling myself all the things you said. You are priceless ❤ if no one else says so, You Help Me. Keep up the videos and the good work. PS. It was my late husband Steve's birthday and I lost him 13 years ago. Some years are worse than others. This was a bad year. Thanks again ❤

I’m not sure why but watching this video I am actually in tears-what you are describing with having to put effort in to remember to do routines making you irritable is exactly me! It was like you were looking inside my head 😂I didn’t know other people felt like this. I’m so grateful for your videos and your honesty-I’m learning so much about myself and how to cope and you genuinely make me feel less alone. Thank you x

My waiting paralysis happens on days when I am waiting for my Tesco shopping to be delivered. I have learnt to do earlier time slots so I can then get on with my day 😂
