@@redbaron6805 Not sure if that was a humorous comment, but just do some simple maths. An EV usually has at least a 50kwh battery. My solar panel system is a 13.5 kw system, although I have never seen it go much above 10kw. That means to charge a 50kwh EV, my solar panel system would take 5 hours. That would mean that all power would have to be directed to the EV and I wouldn't be able to use any solar power for anything else. In practice, the 10kwh output only happens for a few hours around the middle of the day and outside that, it is less. Of course, if clouds come over, the solar system drops right off. The simple fact is that solar panel systems might be able to top up EV's, but they are insufficient to do a full charge within a day - you'd probably need two days.

Even in the USA, the average commute is around 40 miles a day, which requires around 10kWh. This is the core problem with these claims. EV's are not driven like gasoline cars, where you drive the car until empty, and then charge it back to full. It is topped off, usually daily, or every other day. Literally no EV owner on the planet will walk into his garage, plan on going somewhere, and see 0 miles of range available.

I don't completely believe what the biologists say, but the biologists mentioned a hypothesis that there was a time when CO2 was excessive, but there was no human destruction at that time, so the plants played their best role (plants respire at night, and plants still need oxygen), and after some terrible cycle, the plants finally defeated CO2. This is a theoretical story. I am half-believing. But it is true that CO2 will be released whenever there is combustion, etc. If you burn wood or charcoal, it will still emit CO2 and carbon monoxide.

Two pieces of information I’ve not seen widely publicised: Fire breaks in the surrounding area were outlawed due to a mouse. Fire crews had no water due to a dam being removed - no power, no pumps, no water to fire hydrants. The fire breaks were removed due to them impacting the environment where an indigenous mouse lived - the fire breaks impacted their movement and made them more easily predated in the open areas. The dam, that previously provided natural water pressure through gravity, was removed to allow fish to travel up river - there is a video online with the current Governor meeting with native peoples to publicise why this was a good thing. I’m guessing that all of the mice are now BBQd, along with a few unfortunate residents who voted for these policies.

What happens however is due to the higher heat trapping properties of CO2, the increased heat, droughts and stress on plants offset the benefits of a CO2 levels, unlike in a greenhouse where all of those factors can be carefully controlled and mitigated.

There is no need for EVs on farms. Nor will there ever be. JBL, tractor company in UK is developing or has developed already, a very clever workaround for farm equipment. You need to go to their website to work through the details, but, will surely be a lifesaver for the farming and even mining communities in the end. Battery powered solutions can never work for industrial strength earthmoving or agriculture, JBL figured that out very quickly, then figured out a solution, with help and assistance from Lotus engineers in UK.

In the event of bush fires, fire storms etc on a large geographical/topographical, scale all electric grid operators as part of fire reduction risk management , dramaticly reduce or shut down supply to the danger areas. Execpt for emergency response hubs. Electric charging stations would be the first to go because of the huge drain on the network. In the Calaforincation/LALA land case this was compounded by traffic grid lock and very high ambient temperatures draining batteries even faster. I wonder how many battery powed fire engines were used in very steep terrain areas.

I've been trying to make this point since I started watching this channel. EVs are worthless in a natural disaster like this. When these cars fail it will affect the ability of others to get out. Doesn't matter if is a hurricane or a forest fire, the result is the same. Disabled cars blocking the highway impeding traffic. I can carry enough fuel to double, triple or quadruple my range and ensure I can get away. If necessary I can live out of my vehicle for a few days. You can't do that in an EV!! Make rescue vehicles EV is a huge mistake. Imagine being out on a fire call and the battery dies. Can't pump water or even move the truck unless there's a smal diesel engine for the pump. The diesel engine is there for many reasons to ensure the truck can stay on statuon for extended periods of time and still ne able to perform. This foolish madness needs to end.

Emergencies and Evacuations: California, where LA is located, has experienced several major wildfires in recent years. During such events, it is common for people to evacuate quickly, abandoning their vehicles, whether electric or internal combustion. In an emergency, the priority is to save lives, not to take care of vehicles. Electric Vehicles and Charging: While there are challenges with charging infrastructure for electric vehicles in some areas, this is unlikely to be the primary reason for cars being abandoned. Modern electric vehicles have sufficient range for everyday use, and while there are situations where an electric vehicle may not be able to charge, it is not the most logical explanation for why cars are abandoned in an area affected by an emergency.
