I have the Apache Black that I bought in the late 70s. It was the first rifle that I bought. I have a laser to put on it as soon as my wife gives it back to me. 🤣 That means I have to buy her a rifle that she likes.

I bought one of these in Mohawk Brown in outstanding condition a few years ago and got a steal of a deal on it.It was in pristine condition. Recently, I helped a couple from a church that we go to, to load up a moving truck since they are relocating. In the process I negotiated another great deal on a second Mohawk Brown Nylon 66 that the man was willing to sell me. This one too is in 95% condition and like yours, made in 1972. I plan to strip the rifle and clean it thoroughly.

@@tennesseetactical1864I saw a Jerry Miculek interview (a nylon 66 was his first gun), in it he states he saw a program where a guy threw n shot like 100,000 wooden blocks and very rarely missed using this gun.
