I love how the movie and this music video draws from the Greek mythology tragic story of Orpheus and Eurydice. In the movie you can see one strong similarity between the movie and that story, when Nick and Mae are climbing that staircase - Nick looks back at Mae and the camera shifts to Mae's hand letting go of Nick's. Orpheus was told not to look back if he wants to escape back to life with his love, Eurydice (who died in the first place).

I literally cry of reminiscing and happiness whenever I hear this song. I lost my mom 5 years ago and I'm not over it - not even close. But every time I hear this song it makes me feel a little closer to her. I absolutely loved the WestWorld series, Reminiscence, and whoever melded this music video from the movie like that. This was absolutely breathtaking. A true work of art that has me watching it over and over again in high definition to just...enjoy it.

This movie not making +250 million is why I believe our civilization is coming to an end. The past can destroy us or save us. It can trap us or set us free. One thing is for certain though; We are diminished by its loss. But people today are tearing down monuments and re-writing the past; they don't care about the heartbreaking songs sung in smoky nightclubs, or the beautiful sunsets. They just hate that it's not all about them.
