I won’t lie I saw this coming when you got the dog. I think Ollie and I are alike in that we LOVE dogs, LOVE being around them……when they are someone else’s and we can eventually leave them. Maybe it’s selfish but I love being able to travel on a whim, not being home at certain hours to feed them, sleeping in as late as I want. Again I love dogs but I also love my life (right now) and if anything it would probably be more selfish of me to get a dog and then maybe not be able give them the life they truly deserve. You seem like a phenomenal dog mom and give those pups the best treatment possible so I’m glad this worked out but I hope people take this as a good learning lesson to not gift dogs to people, they will get one when they are ready and if that’s never then so be it.

that’s what i was saying!!! i loveee dogs and animals and other peoples animals but if it weren’t for my boyfriend i would not have a dog. he takes care of our dog 90% of the time and we knew this getting into it i told him like hey i loveeee our dog and dogs in general but taking care of them and having to have a living thing on me/by my side 24/7 i cannot do that

This is how I feel about having kids lol. I want to be a mom but for sure later on in life (currently 25) because I know I’m not ready for all that responsibility! And most likely only have one because I think for me and my partner’s lifestyle that’s what would suit us the best

We have a maltipoo who had horrible separation anxiety and for nighttime we put his crate on our bed facing us for a few nights and slowly moved it off the bed, then onto a chair by the bed, then to the floor with a view of us and finally to the side of the room where his crate is now! It took about a week and a half but now he sleeps so peacefully in his crate and goes into it whenever he wants to chill. Slow and steady for days training is key. Also Cesar Milan’s How to Train the Perfect Dog was a game changer for our difficult pup!

A cat might be better for someone who has bad anxiety... dogs are alot of work. But everyone isn't a dog person, they might like your dogs but having their own is alot.

A solution for the screaming doggos, is covering the crate but leaving music or tv on. It helped my dog calm down so much and now that she’s 1.5y/o she loves her crate and being alone!

also, hate to say it but sometimes they need to cry it out, just like a human baby who sleeps alone for the first time. pups get used to the crate and start to see it as a safe space and will learn to enjoy it for naps and sleeping at night. it’s just part of the training process. regardless, glad they have this pup’s best interest in mind! but i’d personally consult a dog trainer before deciding the screaming puppy is a forever thing.

Hey remi, we recently just raised our puppy as well but our pup didn’t come from a breeder so he wasn’t well socialized. We started taking him to puppy socials which is essentially a play date for puppies and helped our pup with socialization and separation anxiety! Highly recommend finding one near you! Same puppy basic obedience class too!

oh im so sad that it didn’t work out with luna and oli because i know how excited you both were for him to have a puppy :( but, i am glad that in the end you all assessed the situation and decided to do what was best for luna which would be staying with you especially considering how attached shes been to you since the beginning. which honestly i felt was pretty obvious and i was worried about how she would adjust once she fully moved in with oli but at least its all solved now and oli will still get to see little luna often

DON’T soak your cup in acetone!! Acetone is very harsh and ruin the cup. Plus acetone is very toxic so you don’t want to soak something you’re going to drink out in it either. If you really need, use a Q-tip to dab out the chalky spots but be careful not to touch the surface of the cup. Hope it all works out for you 💕

I use liquid fusion for my cups & it works amazing!! I do recommend you sand the cup first & the wipe with rubbing alcohol prior to applying the rhinestones so they stay for a long time. When you are done let it cure for a full 24-48 hours!

I also have 3 dogs. They’ve all been raised the same in the same home by the same people and one of ours was also a screamer. She was SUCH a difficult puppy for over a year. Now she’s 3 and the most loving, cuddly thing you can imagine. Unfortunately some puppies are just like that but happy to hear she’s adjusting to your home well!

Honestly if you can’t cook your own meals you will not want to take care of a dog let alone a puppy. Hello Remi!!! Mega, Mega, Mega FAN!!! Happy New Year!! I hope all is going super well! I realize that after all these years, I'm finally writing a comment (but def not my not my last)!!! I wanted to say, mega congrats with Luna! She's gorgeous 🤩❤️ I have two older pups and I know your doing your best to give her everything which is incredible! As I was listening to you, I heard you mention that she was having some separation anxiety (totally normal for pups) just wanted to mention that although vets are amazing, I would strongly recommend a professional dog trainers opinion as well. My bf is one and there are so many additional and helpful tools, tricks and tips to easing the her anxiety (specially now as a puppy). I see my bf helping save folks from being evicted by introducing some of these habits and I would love to see you and Luna also get through these early months with so much ease. I agree with comments below to keep socializing her with ppl, kids and grown ups alike and also her crate is her safe place, out ALL the treats, toys and goodies in there to let her know it's her safe place. I agree with covering the crate little by little too. Your killing it as always!! Thank you for all your content!! Can't wait to see what 2023 brings!!! Much Love ❤️😘

Ollie seems like a cat person not a dog owner. A black cat specifically 🐈‍⬛ I had a feeling you would end up with Luna. She just seemed to fit you. Momo is a guys girl. She loves Cal and Ollie. Dogs chooses who they bond with. We can’t do too much about it 😊

We got a maltipoo in 2020 and we’re remote up until June 2022, so the change has been really hard on our dog. He’s figured out how to get out of 2 different kinds of crates and the vet recommended we put him on a super low dose of Prozac to calm him down… we’re hoping to get him into doggy daycare but it is so dang expensive!

I recently got a puppy, she was born October 16th and honestly, potty training has been sooooo difficult, by far the hardest out of any animal I've helped raise. I need to watch videos on best potty training tips lol! Our biggest future issue is she screams when we leave her, she even tore her crate etc so I've now just been taking her everywhere as she can't be trusted alone..... she tears Our carpets and I know by me taking her everywhere, it's going to be even harder to leave her in a crate, alone.

My dog never got acclimated sleeping in his crate, But I did not plan on having him sleep in there long term anyways, I wanted him to eventually sleep with me. But he still has a good relationship with his crate and knows it’s his safe zone/den. Depending on your long-term goals with luna Maybe it’s not necessary for her to sleep in the crate. Idk, but good luck!

my sister got a puppy and i took care of her and trained her for the first 2-3 months of her life with us. (i have two other dogs at home) she would sleep and spend the afternoon at my sisters after she came come from work and she adjusted to fully being over there well. she gets very excited when she come visits and vise versa
