Hey Harpy, I'd like to point out that Anastasija's Inspiration+ 1 point in Regrowth beats out ring of infinite damage in every scenario. Infinite damage gives 8% fire rate while Haste gives 7% fire rate & reload speed (and 9 other stats)

@@Fightup1 In the build with Anguish I was using ring of infinite damage and gold ribbon, in that case I was utilizing both sources so I wasn’t missing out on the haste status. That being said I could also have replaced RoID with something like frivolous band for more fire rate and evade speed. In the case of monarch’s build it would’ve been more efficient to run Anastasija’s Inspiration plus a single point of regrowth in its place.

Sadly Anguish is NOT properly scaling. It's dealing more damage than intended from explosive sources. Either way, the new guns are all awesome. Sparkfire leads to loads of cool builds especially with shot swapping to stack stuff like Ahanae Crystal is paradise. The devs clearly are in touch with what makes guns good since they avoided the "scale the mod or the gun" problem that base game weapons can suffer from.

@@WryHarpy Yeah, it's for the mod specifically judging from the research people have done on the Remnant 2 Discord in the bug reports. It's scaling multiplicatively.

​@@WryHarpyIt isn't scaling multiplicatively, by the way. It actually has a hidden passive that increases damage dealt on the mod the lower enemy health gets, and that's calculating strangely. That's the bug. Good news is that even after that's fixed next week, even after Anguish itself gets a very slight buff/nerf to the gun... It's still overall the strongest handgun in the game by raw number chunking, and that mod passive is actually slightly easier to work with due to the addition of a minimum health threshold for max benefit. It'll be chunking bosses, no worries.

Fun fact, you can manually toggle the mod on Monarch off to get the full 20% damage and all other benefits in exchange for manual aim.

I considered mentioning that but ended up cutting it from the voice over. It’s definitely worth doing when you’re able to, especially in close range where the auto-aim isn’t necessary.

I'm finding the shots are going towards the X on the tire dummies instead of the head... I have to severely aim UP to hit that ... I used to be able to shoot boss's weak spot and then spam away .... can't do that anymore...

Yeah I think something is up with Monarch atm. There’s some other weird jank going on with the its mod being charged by other mods like nebula’s swarm or fargazer. Something happened and hopefully they fix it soon.
