Remnant 2: February Patch Balance Changes

Just realized I mistook Fetid Wound’s level 10 effect for tainted blade’s. Ignore what I said about that part in nebula’s section. It’s still a pretty good buff to the weapon.

The benevolence trait for medic got bugged. It doesn't work. Unable to heal teammates and summons. Sources like pulsing heart and burden of the divine still work, but you don't get the increase relic healing now. Considering it was never mentioned in the patch notes, I think it's a bug.

I think you’re right. Wondered why my relics weren’t healing teammates. Thought I had my archetypes switched or something for a min.

8:30 NANI?? Fetid Wounds counts separate instances of Corroded separately? Does that mean having Corroded shots on a Fetid Wounds weapon stacks it twice? Right now I've been on Hot Shot even with Probability Cord but I might've been missing out on more Crits.

They actually buffed Hellfire, it's mod now deals fire on Explosion

Another change that wasn’t in the patch notes? I’m glad it was buffed, as it sorely needed it. I wish there was more care put into the patch notes so I wouldn’t miss changes like that in a video 😅

I just saw a comment saying the medic perk might be bugged atm. I’ve not seen any mention if the other few sources of healing efficacy were also affected, so hopefully it’s just a bug.

You guys dont have any crash issues? I bought a game a week ago, have a decent PC, crashes every time I play. Not to desktop but hard crash to the point of turning my PSU off/on. Such a great game but unplayable...

Sorry to hear that 🙁 Remnant 2 can be a very taxing game even on high end setups. UE5 still isn’t very optimized so I typically always run the game on ultra performance mode in the upscaler settings. It does severely degrade the image quality but I find the game crashes less when I have it on. I used to blue screen a lot when playing the game, the stop code I kept getting was DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I think it was a gpu related crash. It hasn’t happened to me in a few months now so I’m not sure, but if it’s turning off your PSU I’d recommend checking out the public remnant discord to see if anyone else has had that same issue.
