The damage is definitely there. Wiped 1 true king on apoc before his phase change (although he repeated 1st phase for some reason so I think he was just glitchin a bit). DR is low without the legendary fragment. DR is always the issue I have with Apoc builds. I put on heavier armor and some strong back but probably just need to drop at least one ring to get some DR somewhere.

This is what I was going to say. Steel Plating is just objectively worse, more Armor has diminishing returns. Maybe for Light armor, but flat 30% DR for all types is just objectively better. This person's build isn't even hitting DR cap, which is bad for an "OP healing apocalypse build". Not a small difference either a full 6% away from DR cap, which means there is still potential to be one shot by some attacks. Overall nice build, but don't see it as OP and needs optimisations.

@ if you give it a spin the healing IS covering a lot of ground but I don’t use legendary bonuses so I had to shore up my DR to feel more comfortable

Not how that works. Regeneration isn't what saves you from dying it's DR. If a build can't even tank the strongest hits from bosses then regeneration is irrelevant. Optimising regeneration and DR means more room to invest in DPS. Which is why I pointed out the DR of this person's build is not optimal, because it is using the wrong Legendary Fragment and claims they are equal, they are not. That means objectively this build doesn't live up to the claim of being an "OP healing apocalypse build". So many people clickbait and overhype their builds this way.

@@rainbowstormgaming we’re not disagreeing on much here. The difference is I tried this build out and it worked ok except I didn’t use the legendary bonus because when I max a prism I start a new prism. I did increase the DR. I wore full Leto II and got enough strong back to still roll in it. I found the damage was more than enough to feel good even on apocalypse. It has enough DR to withstand hits and enough healing to get your health bar back to max. It’s STILL a glass cannon I’d say, you can’t AFK through apocalypse damage, it’s a mod swapper build that works like other mod swapper builds I’ve tried. It just has extra healing on one side and it works. If you don’t want to try it that’s fine. I’m just saying I DID try it and it DID work with little more DR and no legendary bonus.

I think you're confused, I don't care about your modifications because I am commenting on the build in the video, not your changes. If anything, I am agreeing with you by pointing out the build needs improvements.

Didn't play for over a year, I beat the game on Apocalypse soon after the game release but I stopped before the first DLC. Just started playing again. What would be the best way to farm the amulet? Boss rush, or just reroll adventure to N'erud?

@@Hanrahan46 much easier to farm items in areas boss rush does drop items and weapons but they are limited and I'm not sure which ones boss rush drops

@@Hanrahan46 this one is actually probably easier in boss rush. If they’re a random world drop you’ll get them faster in boss rush (the 3 or 7 boss rush) because boss rush only pulls from items you don’t have. If they’re from a quest or injectable they won’t appear in boss rush so you have to encounter the injectable or quest. The exception is boss weapons which can be acquired from the 7 or 19 boss rushes. I would say loading up worlds is now the worst way to get world drops because boss rush’s table doesn’t load things you have already. It’s also the best way to get corrupted shards. I had every world drop I was missing and every corrupted weapon within a couple weeks of starting to play DLC 3 So if you want trinkets do the 3 boss rush. If you want weapons do the 7. If you want both + the best experience grind for time do the 19 boss rush. The 3 boss rush is also a nice way to just feel out builds quickly imo

@@BloodyInitiate Thanks for the reply! I got it last night from the gauntlet, I thought the more bosses, the better. Now I need the shadow of misery for another build (Losum random drop). I'll give 3 and 7 boss rush a try!
