One of the biggest new additions in Remnant 2’s final DLC, The Dark Horizon, is a brand-new Archetype called The Warden. Remnant 2 is the sequel to the best-selling game Remnant: From the Ashes that pits survivors of humanity against new deadly creatures and god-like bosses across terrifying worlds. Play solo or co-op with two other friends to explore the depths of the unknown to stop an evil from destroying reality itself. What I've absolutely love about the progression of the DLC archetypes is that they've always given lots and lots of love to an aspect of the game that was maybe a little underserved. Ritualist? Yeah, I remember when status effects were just kinda there, then they became a monstrous build. Invoker? Now that you mention it, actual Skill-focused builds kinda had fallen by the wayside for a bit. And now Warden's here to say, "Shield builds, your time has come."

And all it'll take is for ONE person to make a build that makes them go "Oh crap ... NERF IT!!! IT'S MAKING THE GAME TOO EASY!!! NERFFFF" ... The sweeping nerfs they've done in the past JUST so you 'have' to get the new items they add to make the abilities GOOD again makes me sad.

This game is awesome, and it looks like it's getting even better. I really hope you guys make Remnant 3. My only suggestions for improvement would be allowing us to equip 3 guns and 1 melee weapon, and to let us use 3 abilities (or 4). And bring back armour perks 🙌 and maybe transmog system with colour dyes. That would literally be the perfect game.

@@Assassins12Chaos Versatile doesnt mean it beats in multiple areas maybe you need to go look at the term Versatile allows one to hit multiple things Handler allows you to buff, heal or increase damage allowing it to be a Versatile support Combine that with drone, which also gives those same combos you could make a seriously strong Versatile support able to double down on buffing, attacking or healing or even spread out a bit Same with Engineer as it has quite a few part wide skills

Remnant From the Ashes is one of my all time fav games. When Rem 2 was announced I was lil worried. Honestly, how could R1 be topped? Then I played Rem 2. Absolutely beautiful. I haven't played Remnant 2 since I completed the base game last year and it was not only my favourite game of 2023, but it's one of my favourite games of all time. I've been so busy since then that I haven't been able to play much of anything, but now that the final DLC is coming out and I have more time I plan on playing through all the DLCs and I'm pretty excited which is very rare for me 😄

I absolutely LOVED this game. I'm proud and somewhat embarrassed to say I've got over 2000 hours on this game alone. To put it in perspective, I've had GTA 5 well, since 1864😂 and have got 500 hours on there. I cannot wait for remnant 3!!! Keep up the great work guys. This game was slept on for sure!

The perk mentioning reserves for turret and drone being boosted tells me it'll get more reserve ammo with a better skill duration, or a better cooldown. I have a build right now that makes the turret have essentially infinite ammo because it regenerates while active and replenishes the ammo before it's gone, it sacrifices damage to do it but I like the infinite ammo turret it's fun. The drone look like it may also get this infinite ammo! Straight up gonna be a division 2 skill agent spamming drone and turret

Really nice for us to get another full on support class, particularly as it's the last DLC and most games would try to go for a big DPS class to draw people in, since not a ton of people play support in games. That said, I can definitely see some fun potential with this for offensive builds as well, either with immortal shield builds or making use of the passive attack speed boosting of the third drone. The second drone also has some potential to go insane for a medic build for team survivability, or even a selfish relic use focused build, since one of the big downsides of using relics a ton for buffs or offensive purposes tends to be that you lose out on healing or have to focus on slotting in more regen options to your rings. Honestly going to be really fun to find some interactions between this and the gear we currently have, much less all the new items that'll be added.

Im gonna say it here too The engineer should get fixed because you can't mix his skills with for example the chalangers rampage/berserk skill That is why im more sad because this new archetype isn't that much of a gamechanger in terms of kombinations kind of Well they wouldnt go that far to balanced the engineer if they did what i mentioned Still happy to see the new mode and dlc😊

I've said in 2 other video and I'll say it here officially Warden is literally just a slightly better Handler. I called it out when I read about it and was really hoping I was wrong but unfortunately not. This is extremely disappointing for the last class to come but hopefully the new weapons I've seen so far make up for it

What exactly makes it better than Handler? For support the dogs healing is AOE and comes with a movespeed buff, attack dog gives a huge buff to the whole party, and no matter which stance the dog is in he attacks and inflicts bleed allowing the use of things like whetstone without bleeding weapons, twisted wounds, or abrasive rounds. I think more than being a better handler, it's a handler with better single target stattage since it's heal and shield only apply to a single person. I think these classes will work extremely well in tandem, but the only thing that'll truly answer if it is strictly better handler is dlc drop :P (in the grand scheme of things Handler isn't particularly meta anyway, I just don't think warden or handler particularly have one thing over the other)
