I hate Dream Eater with a passion, still the hardest boss for me to beat. Never do it consistently, and don't enjoy it enough to practice. Very good guide, props for testing out health breakpoints. Throw after Spin of the unclean one: the spins of the hammer are fast and angled, and the last one with the throw is slowed down and completely horizontal. You can just see it. Ixillis: the first move it performs after one ixillis dies is a beam charge. In solo the wisps come from one side of the bridge, in co-op the come from both sides. Iskal Queen: stay at medium distance in the first phase, you really don't want to get hit by bugs when she decides to spawn them again. You can switch equipment in the transition between phases - I use it to switch from Hive Cannon to Sawed-Off with Ice Spear. When you get her to 33% health she will jump in the air and alternate fast projectiles with whole-room cleave attacks for a while, before getting down. Also you can notice that DLC bosses are much better designed than Vanilla ones :)

As for Ixillis - this boss always was a "door stuck" moment in all of my co-op playthroughs. I remember when we finally beat them one of my friends I was playing with said: "Wait, was that the first really interesting and hard boss and not a walking DPS check with a f**ktone of mobs around?" That was kinda funny)

Iskal Queen has flying moveset as well ^^ When she is up in the sky she can do long uppercut sweeps with her scythe, shoot crescent projectiles, launch her scythe to the ground and teleport to grab the scythe while doing the AoE move.

I read that on the wiki, but I have never actually seen her perform those moves. Is she supposed to do it below 33% health?

@@WryHarpy yes, below 30%, I encountered those flying moves many times, especially at that point, instead gunning her down as fast as possible, you hesitate/delay a little bit for healing or ammo box, she will fly up for some punishment lol

Bet you'll blow up when Remnant II comes out! I know where I'll get my info first. I started playing Remnant I a few days ago and your guides are far above what I've seen on other channels. I particularly like that you explain if something is viable in the endgame through its playstyle instead of arbitrarily making tier lists, you show a deep understanding of the game. Now, if you excuse me, it's time to keep going on my first nightmare run of the campaign

Found out recently that melee damage does weak spots specifically so you could smack the unclean one’s butt and I think that’s great

you could, however doing so would be dealing less damage than if you didnt melee his rear since he has a -40% weakspot modifier and since pretty much all melee comes with a +10% modifier you still net -30% damage which is a huge loss, best stick with guns for his weakspot.

@@WryHarpy It's a different king of game when you can do a boss fight without seeing an entire phase of it LOL, also missed an attack that she only does once in a blue moon. Plus its possible to just skip half the fight, that boss is something special.

i played alot of remnant 2 before recently trying FTA, i started on apocalypse as i was used to doing NG apoc on rem 2 for fun, till i started getting bored, and my god, this game is so much different, especially on those banshee enemies in the thrall fight, mainly in the dungeons, are horrible, its so hard to hit their weakspot, at least on controller, and most of the bosses in this game spawn alot of ads, which took some time to adjust to, iskall queen is by far the hardest thing ive dealt with yet, i did it with hive cannon/sniper/slayer set, she is probably one of my favourite fights out of both games, just an extremely cool and satisfying boss to fight. Also because of the few audio queues in the entire fight, and almost none at all in the 2nd phase, she made me realise i actually needed glasses because i couldnt see the difference in her attacks in the second phase, im getting them on tuesday, im like -2.5, i guess i was much more reliant on audio queues than i thought, i suppose remnant 2s bosses have much better graphics, alot of stark audio/visual queues and are generally quite large so i never had this issue in rem 2, never thought a boss would be so hard id need glasses for it lmao. great game, alot of great bosses, and also great video on the tips and tricks you are very clear and helpful with explaining mechanics and how to deal with them, will be sure to watch more :)

Ixillis was a nightmare to fight co-op on apocalypse. I can't even tell you how long that fight took. Second place was claviger, but this guy by far one of the hardest i've ever fought in a game lol

I never encountered the queen no matter how many times I tried restarting the adventure mode I just fought the other bosses.

Yeah finding her can be a bit of a hassle. She doesn’t count as a world boss so her area is technically treated as a side dungeon in terms of generation. I think there is one specific generation that makes it obvious that she’s present. Her area has the same design in the over world as the fetid pools and dream eater/barbed terror dungeons.

Hello everynyan It's "Hot takes in the comment section" show :) I don't like Barbed Horror fight IMO it is unreasonably tanky and when it starts to shoot spikes it's just sensory overload. I hate it here, just as I hate Riphide and [REDACTED] for that same reason.

I wonder what you will say in your yaesha video about the warden. That is the hardest boss in this game for me and I hate it with a passion. I hate it more than totem father with the red totem.
