The duel sword guys that block bullets are fairly easy to kill. As a new player he kicked my ass multiple times. I tried to melee him and come so close the first time. I tried something different, I would get about 2-3 feet away and press melee then instantly aim with my shotgun and get 2 quick shots off. As you get close he drops his guard to attack you but you can repeat this process and he usually dies on the second try. I hope this helps other new players who don't have ranged damage skills

There's even easier way, albeit need a bit of reroll to get a specific weapon: Spitfire SMG/Flamethrower hybrid. Use its flamethrower mode, and roast his face. He won't be able to block the intangible flames anyway, and he's vulnerable to fire even.

Idk if this is mentioned in the vid but you can get multiple weapons/mods from one boss depending on how you kill it. With the harrow, if you don’t shoot his leg then kill him you get the defiler, but if you shoot his leg you can hit a button and then get the lost harpoon

Thanks, very informative video. A couple of tips: crouching will steady up your aiming and side stepping will prevent your getting hit by what the simple roots throw.

I like the magnum revolver. I switch between that and the sub. You can get the revolver by completing a fetch quest for one of the vendors in ward 13

Can you do a list of all optional boss objectives that give you bonus weapons, i.e cutting the dragons tail for the sword, im afraid to progress much further because i already missed that and idk all the objectives or weapons they give

This video is amazing. I'm about 15 hours in, loving this game. I've missed so much! What a hidden gem this game is. I almost turned it off after the first half hour because it kinda looks ugly and has meh frame rate on PS4. Glad I kept at it. Probably would have been my 2019 GOTY if I played it last year. Yeah the game is hard, however with a few world resets to get your gear upgraded it's doable solo, however I prefer to play it with friends.

This game at times can be harder than Dark Souls when playing solo. The summoner build however does make thing easier when playing alone.

You're starting class also gives you your starting stats. The scrapper starts with v bigger so if you're looking for survivability...

yes that is true, however you can unlock all the traits in time.

@@FNHUSA57 everyone starts with the figure trait okay but each class starts with a different amount of vigor the scrapper starting with the most vigor. so again if you want more survivability right at the start you start with the scrapper and then yes you can get all the rest of those traits later on in the game

I just started playing this and you help so much manage to get the sub and only thing I’m wondering if you die (which I have lol) do you keep them items and exp or does it go back to where you were at the start of the checkpoint?

Firstly, thank you for subscribing to my channel. I hope you will enjoy many of my videos. To answer your question if you die in the normal game modes nothing is lost. The only time things are lost is in survival mode runs or hard core games.

Such a great video! Cleared up quite a few misconceptions. My friends and I just picked this up on Epic, and are loving it. It does seem to be designed with multiplayer in mind - like the enemy in this video that blocks all attacks from the front. It was a great moment for us to figure that out, and then flank it and take it out!

Couple of things one at southfort I doubt the hunter tide Otis something different. the world won't be the same contract to your statement every time you reroll you will get differently laid out city with a randomly-generated monsters and somewhat random boss at the end of the non-voluntary dungeon

Great beginner's guide video..you probably could have mentioned that in the world's or a dungeon that when an elite appears that there are 2 dings..1 for when it appears and 1 for when it's been neutralized and/or eliminated but other than that great video

I'm surprised I actually found the SMG myself, there's a lot of cool lore in there as well on the computers. I’ve been playing on Normal difficulty, and even on normal; the game is difficult in its own way. I heard from another player who joined me via matchmaking that they are planning to increase the difficulty even further, which should be interesting!

Happy to help. As for your weapons it all comes down to how you want to play & a bit of RnG. I did try the shot gun but it was not for me, so I got and upgraded the hunting rifle. There is nothing wrong with the starting weapons especially if you like them. All weapons in this game are end game options. Some are better options than others but they all work. With that said watch your upgrading. As you enter a new zone it automatically scales to your item level +1. So if you enter a zone with an average of +3 gear the enemies will be the equivalent of +4. This pretty much means the more you upgrade the harder the next zone you go into will be. Also after entering a zone and it scaling to your item level you need to watch changing into gear that is not upgraded. If you enter the zone with the +3 gear and then switch it out for +1 you are going to take an extra 10% damage for every item level difference.

I might be wrong here, but I heard that loot actually DOES get better with more players in coop. Could be a new update or something, maybe you could put an annotation at 28:45 to correct/update that statement.

I went back and played some more, in my games the loot was the same no matter the number of players. Also you can no longer add annotations to videos on KZbin. They stopped that a long time ago, however any videos that had them all ready got to keep them.

I didn't have too hard of a time with Gorefist. It's the boss that teleports with the root thing adds that I just cannot pass.

If it's the boss that teleports then shoots large red arrows that come down from above, with root adds that chase you. The best thing to do is focus the boss, when you hear the scream run keep moving till the last arrow hits then engage the boss or adds depending on what is more threatening to you. How does the upgrade system work in this game? I started a new character, and upgraded all my main weapons and armor as much as I could. Then I went through the first area and got Gorefist like you did, but I wanted Shrowd instead. So I rerolled the map and now all the starting enemies are on par with me after I have +5 on all my gear. Is upgrading even worth it? And are the enemies gonna keep getting stronger since I rerolled and they are starting out being the same level as me?

In short yes enemies will scale with your highest gear level. It is worth upgrading your weapon & gear as the later worlds will be harder without the upgrades. After you max your gear & earn some skill points the game will get better, IMO. If you have any more questions feel free to ask. The co op seems to be okay if u play with a friend low gear that other thing if u play public and searxh for public games u get to see only gear lvl around u +/-1 or even. Updates a major one with story update and dunegonds and more shit also the last dlc to this game as i understood from the devs that will cost 10 usd . I hope they will continue add free stuff in future after this update the game still have potential but need more stuff

This video is still up to date. there have been some nerfs & buffs but mostly the information is still correct. As for the co op it scaled off the hosts level, so just have the lower level player host.

Well the worlds were separate, I can't say for 100% sure after this DLC. However do to the fact each players game can have different dungeons & different bosses I would say the worlds are still separate. You will keep any weapons, boss parts & resources you got in you friends game. Also some achievements are locked to the host's world.

I put it on hard and I was getting 1 shot by the first boss I saw and also 1 shot by like just a regular medium size enemy with a big sword. Hit boxes/ clipping/ timing are not as fair as in souls games.

I wouldn't want them to tread old ground, but I do miss this last of us style post apocalypse earth biome from remnant 2. Root earth is so aggressive, where there is a calmness to the earth in remnant from the ashes that I enjoyed
