Mr. Chapel disgraced himself, the police uniform he wore, the police department he represented, and the badge he carried when he committed murder. He didn’t deserve to be a police officer. Emma Jean Thomson didn’t have to die in such horrific way, but this cop was greedy and evil and he saw the opportunity to steal her money to pay all his “financial debts problems” -that he created himself. Unbelievably disgusting and abhorrent behavior from a police officer who sworn to uphold the law and yet, he himself became a criminal. It was totally unacceptable. But the judge didn’t give him the appropriate sentence: life imprisonment without parole; oh no, the judge gave him a “pass”. Wow. Swell really swell, isn’t it? (Being sarcastic). Here we go again, judges protecting criminals rather than the victims. The way I see it is that victims of crimes have NO RIGHTS whatsoever, they died……so what? Who cares? That’s the message that I get from these judges. It is outrageous, sickening and shameful. This poor woman not only lost her money…..she lost her life. Smh. This cop, Mr. Chapel made me barf. Rest in Peace always, Emma Jean 🙏💐

The judges are the top criminals...If you watched the other cases on this episode..They killed and got life in prison..Why?..Because they were citizens...But the thin blue line cop thugs get a slap on the wrist...That is the corruptions in the judicial system in America...Absolutely disgusting...He planed her death...It was premeditated murder...

I urge you to educate yourself further. He was at a firehouse on the other side of town, and it was corroborated by the firemen there. He also responded to a dispatch call while there. The blood on his jacket, they didn’t confirm if it was animal or human and certainly didn’t confirm DNA. Of course you’re going to get blood on your clothes when you work as an officer. It’s a sad case of wrongful conviction.

7-15K is heavily in debt if you ask me! Why would you buy seven to $15,000 worth of things that you don’t have money for? (Besides a house)
@jasonhansen899610 ай бұрын
@@JulieHempton you're right it is a lot of money. I guess I was thinking about my own situation about 16 years ago when my wife had a hysterectomy and then it got infected and did had to do emergency surgery to save her life and the surgeon and anesthesiologist did not accept my health insurance. I got a bill for $170,000 for the doctors and things and everything that supposedly was not covered by my insurance because that doctor did not accept my insurance, even though I took her to the hospital that we always went to. So I was thinking about $170,000 being DEEP in debt and I would have much rather it had been only $15k. Truth be told even $100 can vbe deep in debt if together. My apologies if you took offense. I was just looking at it from my own situation. Sorry

@@jasonhansen8996 it’s me who was being insensitive. Considering I’ve spent maybe 25 of the last 30 years with no health insurance, I’m just lucky that I’m not horribly in debt.
