The “Coroner Investigator” episode is so amazing! All of those people, from first responders to detectives, investigators, techs - they all are doing jobs that I cannot imagine that I could do. They are heroes truly.

I can understand treating the bodies with respect, and they should. I would want to know where my last steps on Earth would be. And since I wouldn't be able to, someone I've never met would have to for me. But at the same time if they wanted to clown around, I wouldn't mind partaking in it. Say like someone at the coroner's office was having s birthday party with party favors and hats. If they wanted a group photo, I got no problems if they put a birthday party hat on me. Maybe wedge the corners of my smile up. And you never know, it might be my last birthday they celebrate. I may be dead, but I can still be the life of the party.

in the first case, i always thought the killing had to be personal the moment they discovered the killer put a bag over the head of the victim. if it was a random robbery gone sour, the killer probably wouldn't have bothered to cover the face of the victim.

The original detectives really dropped the ball by ASSUMING she had left and been pushed back into the restaurant. Nothing about that scene to me said she had been pushed back in. Shouldn’t they have spoke to the manager about the state of the office normally vs the nite of the murder? Seems like a common sense thing to do.

I've seen this first case before, and I'm always shocked that they never looked at her personal life because they would have immediately found the killer. Every program I've seen on murder investigations the detectives do the death notification person unless they're not in the area.
@marlenen6130
@marlenen6130 2 ай бұрын
Mostly the notification is by police which allows them to gage the people’s reaction, this will help the criminal investigation. I suppose that the LA area has their own protocols and perhaps it’s the coroner and not the police, as when this episode was made there were very poor relations with police and citizens.

This show is the only crime show I watch that creeps me out lol. Very good show. I can’t believe the bf fiancé wasn’t a suspect in the begining they always are and the rage killing showed it was someone close and who drives to their gf parents at 5 am to see if their cars there and say oh I can’t go identify her I’ll be late for work why didn’t the parents push or the friends to look at him she fought hard she had a clump of hair and dna under her nails. I guess at that time they could only do blood typing and hair comparison but that’s how they nailed people before.

No way did he not suspect they were onto him. I mean SURELY!!!! Right? You come ask for DNA years and years later? What does him knowing a lot about the case have to do w them needing his dna? He HAD to know in his gut that they were onto him and he just sealed his own fate. The moment they asked for dna I woulda said do I need a lawyer (if I were guilty)
