Used to use Evans but fully swapped to remo now. Just got my Pearl reference one and put Evans EC2s on them and they sounded so bad. Tried a set of clear Remo PS4s and it’s made an incredible difference to my kit!

Best heads in the world-I use the Coated Emperors on the Tom tops and Clear Ambassadors on the bottom, Clear Powerstroke Pro on the bass, Coated Emperor X on the snare tops and Clear Ambassador Hazy on the snare side.

The quality has gone down over the years. In the last year alone I’ve had at least 3 heads rip out it’s rim within an hour fresh out the box.

Their sound in general is cheap now. I've tried a variety of their heads in recent years and I always prefer Evans or Aquarian.
