Whoever was filming this video did a great job.

The guy takes his time to throughly explain the process, so u can appreciate the meticullous work that is done, for each head.

Recently got into drums with a very discouraging start on a "trash kit" that was clearly not taken care of. Hit up sweetwater and got some questions answered. Viewed several hours of head comparison and ergonomic basics. Watched Nick play many a session. Got the heads I liked from SW and wow! It's like learning a bowed instrument all over again. The quality does play a part and having a nice set of heads, a proper tuning, and a good seat makes a world of difference and my practice feels worth it now! I find I'm always going to the drumset over my bass or guitar or keys now.

Love the veiled jab at Evans. Lol. Remo is no longer my brand of choice, but I don't think anyone can deny they make a good drumhead. And it's always nice to have options!

I love remo heads and started using remos new quick tech drum key. It's awesome can even hook on a drill for faster spinning cost about 20 dollars .

This was great, I was reminded of several factories that I used to work at, either in the factory or factory office support, my whole working life working in a factory situation, all manufacturing, especially the American Can Company Dixie Products in Anaheim CA where you walked through the room and on one side of the room was the place where they made the cups out of the paper and they got sucked up into tubes which carried the paper cups overhead and down to the other side of the room to the machines where they finished the process, very similar to the first part of the tour

The type of plastic they use, or mylar, makes all the difference in the world. Ambassador X heads hit the spot. I'm surprised they're able to stay in CA. So many companies are leaving the state.

Excellent video. After using Remo heads for nearly 50 years it is great to see how they are put together. Would have loved to see how the pinstripes and other multiple ply heads are created.

I switched to Remo back in 2012. I was using another brand that will remain nameless but I wasn’t getting the durability that I was wanting out of this brand so I switched to Remo and it was night and day.

Seeing this it makes me more certain to think that drums heads are too expensive for what they are and how they are made.

Seeing this video makes me question how Quality Control has gotten so bad in the recent year. A few friends and myself have bought brand new heads and in my set the plastic comes right off from the rim. BRAND NEW HEADS with regular tuning.

Remo needs to look into their Drumheads collars design the glue is too exposed, so exposed that at some certain point and at any moment the glue along with the drumhead will just pop out making the drumhead useless but still full of tone or it still new. Remo drumheads are the best and superior and yes its true when it last longer it sometimes sounds even better but the collar is the problem. Expensive… they’re expensive but the built quality because of the faulty collar design makes it sometimes feel or look more cheaper than cheap drumheads because most of them collars are clamped up down the aluminum with is glue

The "classic" line will fit vintage Ludwigs or any other vintage drum that may be out of round or have a thick wrap.
