Hi - why do people disable the Auto Start/Stop function? Genuinely interested - I'm picking up my 2016 XC60 D5 in 6 days!

@@pofrani because its rubbish. Each time you stop engine goes off... even if you arrive to parking spot and stop just to put on reverse, Engine will go off, and start instantly when you put in reverse.... Same in traffic... very annoying unless super big traffic... ( Like you stop for 5-10 min to move 5 meters forward and stop again). Its also proven that injectors gives more fuel at the engine start.... In my opinion is not economical at all, moreover your electric engine starter got much more work so it tears quicker. I got 2015 v70 since November 22 and it drives me nuts. Thinking about ordering one. Automatic tailgate is a nice add-on. All the best and VolvoSweden you can expect email soon. ;)

Just installed this module to deactivate the START/STOP function that is on some of our cars. Installs in 5 seconds and done, Just plug it into your OBD2 connector under the dash and it keeps the the START/STOP function off until you turn it on again. It remembers how you last had the button activated or not. My wife hates that function so now she will be happy.

Hello, I have xc60 2015. 2.0 D4. Car is perfect but car got recall 1 year ago. I have problem that very often my board show me turtle (reduce engine performance) and sometimes and check engine..and also sometimes it's alone disappears.. Engine's performance are great all the time without any change. Did you hear somewhere for this problem and do you have any suggest for this problem? All the best

Not need disable, te start and stop funcion on my v60 is available for the 10% of the time. Normally it works when I just arrived at home and the engine stops itself one second before I want to do.
