Man raz I’ve been watching your videos in the background for awhile now. The amount of detail and engineering that goes into some of your builds is insane. How do you know so much about electronics etc? Do you have some sort of background in electrical engineering or electronics? I’m an industrial electrician in Canada and also have a passion for rc’s. I just wish I could have the setups you have man. Anyways best of luck in the future, can’t wait to see the quad motor in action!

we use to drive 58113 800kv 12s 26/39 gear for normal track use , or 530kv 16s or 360kv 18s with truck tires and cab :) , you surely hae to gear other way for reach top speed with smaller kv the shaft are 8mm so we use directly motor pinion for replace main gear , in europ we also have motor moun with slides so ou can move the motor tobetter adjuste gear mech, AN IMPORTANT POINT is to us the alloy gear holder the plaic on will turn arround the shaft quicly SO TAKE CARE :)

Not to criticize your build Raz, but being that those batteries don’t have a protective shell around them, wouldn’t it be better to put them in an enclosure to avoid punctures in the event of a rollover or other accident? You already made a 3D print for the platform, why not extend the design to be a battery compartment? It doesn’t have to be fully enclosed, just the sides should be protected.
