Remote Control Key. Hold back of key against designated area

How to start your Audi when you get the message "Remote Control Key. Hold back of key against designated area" on your dash. It is an indication that the battery in the keyfob is empty, but sometimes you simply don't carry a spare battery around.

I have the same issue but when i put the key on the remarked place, nothing changed also with the other key i still get this and the car doesnt run.

In the remote is a key that can be used to open the door without the use of a battery
