It's an brilliant idea 💡 to get Brandon Cruz, Butch Patrick, and Danny Bonaduce all three in one episode. 😀👍

This is amazing. I was in that audience. We were finishing up Boot Camp at RTC Orlando (which has since been closed.) We were all told the night before to be ready to be on a bus the next day by 0500 (5:00am.) Not until we got on the bus did we know where we were going. This is actually my first time to see it. None of my family or friends saw it the first time either. Thank you.

Seeing Danny Bonaduce without any sort of facial hair is stranger than seeing Weird Al Yankovic without an accordion.

The Marc Summers syndicated game show about TV trivia mentioned at the top of the show, Couch Potatoes, debuted on 1/23/1989, and this show has a copyright of 1988? Interesting. As to when it was known Couch Potatoes was picked up as a series I am not sure, though producer Allen Koss said in an interview that it was Group W's replacement for Hour Magazine despite HM being 60 minutes and Couch Potatoes 30 minutes. This airing of the episode was from between May and mid-June 1989 because Sunday, June 18 mentioned in the Batmobile commercial was in 1989.

The opening was clearly taped long after the actual show. They had a different girl, Alicia, in the intro, where Kari Wuhrer was the girl on the show when the rest was taped.

And no offense to Ken, god rest his soul, but I wouldn't call Couch Potatoes a cheap intimation, I would simply call it a laid back version of Remote Control. Plus it's got more contestants and offered cash prizes not prize prizes.

You have the episode with sports stars Phil McConkey, Sidney Green, and "Steve Sax" as contestants?
