The remote Desktop window shows me a login window for xdrp. After I login again I just see a white terminal window inside the remote desktop. nothing else. what did I miss?

Thanks! This worked flawlesslly. Just make sure your Username is in small case, that causes problems

Man, it looks easy and simple but isn't work for me, still get a failure at the xrdp window when using rdp telling me my login failed. Now I remember why I don't like Ubuntu and prefer RHEL.

For the people that get an error. For some reason usernames with a capital letter don't work. If you change your ubuntu username to have no capital letters it will work!

well I followed the instructions and while the xrdp starts.. when I try to log in from windows 11 pro.. I get login screen in window asking me to login to account when I enter info it says failed sorry very new to linux /ubuntu
