In this video I go multi-day solo hiking in the Kennedy Ranges in remote & outback Australia. There are multiple hiking trails within the Kennedy Ranges National park including Drapers Gorge, Escarpment Trail, Honeycomb Gorge, Temple Gorge and Sunrise View. I combine these trails into one loop & camp the night at Temple Gorge Campground before getting up bright an early to catch the sunrise glowing across the vast Australian landscape.
See the exact path I took;

Mate - love your work. My missus and I were totally engrossed in your vid and having travelled pretty extensively around this country and the globe, it's great to get such a top notch intro to places we've not yet been to. Your wrap up was excellent and we particularly enjoyed the footage in combo with the music choices. Clearly you put a lot of work into your videos and we really appreciate it. You have new subscribers here and we're looking forward to enjoying and sharing your channel. Big cheers from Sydney - Dave

Excellent fossils in that area too. Very easy to find, you can't take them home though. The arid scrublands are my favourite part of WA.

About 7 years ago we went a bit further inland than the Kennedy Ranges for a university unit and I remember being amazed at the amount of fossils everywhere. Unfortunately didn’t see any on this trip but I wasn’t really looking for them. Big fan off the more arid regions too

So dry and barren up there. I hope you're gonna investigate and do some cool off-track walks in Karijni. I've heard you can piece together some great multi-dayers up there. Plus if you liked this, you are gonna love the Larapinta when you get there one day.

I went to Karijini about 2 years ago and absolutely loved it - Really is other worldly walking through those gorges. Seriously can't wait to do the Larapinta either. As soon as thenWA borders open up and it's in season I'll be headed there!

I'm the kind of guy who will stop for half an hour to take pics of a bug 😂. I think it gives time to appreciate their world, and by extension the world around us. I normally photograph when I dive, I've tried underwater video with limited success!

Great shots again Josh. The drone really showed off the terrain and it is now on the list for a visit/hike. Great editing as always. I love your post walk review/summations. No glossing and I love the bits you love - they shine through.

Cheers Tim. As you say I really do love getting the drone out for that perspective you wouldn't otherwise be able to get from the ground. I haven't been able to use it in my last few adventures due to regulations so I'm really itching to throw it in the air. Thanks for watching and hope you've had a good chrissy!

You have a talent for filming and a good eye for camera angels. Nice and relaxing videos. I prefer the silent hike with calm music and at the end the comments. Maybe you can insert a map of your route and location at the beginning of your videos too. Thanks

@@JoshCarrHikes you could insert a Australian map and drop a pin on the location at least. I tend to switch to google maps to research your hike location. But as an Australia lover, l like to do that and research the location. Not sure if others would do the same. Anyways all the best with your KZbin journey.
