Thanks for this cool video. In my Pathfinder R51 2006 the fuel gauge does not work any more. Sekf diagnosis show a normal value so the fuel sensor should be ok. Also test moves all four gauges. Might it be the dashboard that does not properly power the fuel gauge in normal mode?

If the gauge test moves the fuel gauge then I would see if the scan tool shows correct fuel level if it doesn’t it’s probably the sending unit it the tank if it does then it’s probably wiring problem between sending unit and cluster.

@@motorcarnut the shown value says 247 what ist nearly a full gas tank.i think the sending Part in the fuel tank is OK and the cluster has an error converting it to a current for the fuel gauge?

OK..I got another cluster unit...Same Error, fuel gage does not work either. So it must be the sender unit in the fuel tank

Hey this is a great tutorial! I am looking to replace a blown speaker on the dash (left speaker) of my 2011 pathfinder. I'm assuming that after you remove the instrumental cluster that you would be able to access and remove the dash. Would that be a correct assumption or is there a different method to access that speaker? Thanks!

Yes, you still have to remove the lower dash panel but it's a little easier with the other parts removed already.

Can you get access to see the LED’s behind the fascia at all?

It's not really made to come apart, LEDS in the cluster rarely fail.

Actually there are no bulbs in that particular cluster, there are built in LED's. and they are not replaceable. you would have to replace the cluster with another one and have it reprogramed to your car.

I don’t believe the bulbs are replaceable as they are LED’s in the Pathfinder not sure about the Rogue though.

If the dash looks the same , yes if not then no.
