UPDATE: Hey guys. Based on marking criteria version 1.5 released March 2022. New TOC- criteria 8. Encourage person to exercise and to drink 2.5L of fluid per day. Legacy 2014- criteria 7 . Hi it says in marking criteria #7 to clean and dry the genitalia I saw from the video that it seems like all the gauze were wet with saline? are we just going to let it dry like air dry?

Hi! Should I dispose the catheter to the bin immediately after i removed it? Or should i place it somewhere else first and dispose everything after i clean the meatus? Thanks!

After the procedure, remove the gloves then drape the patient and say thank you for cooperating. But before leaving the patient. Make sure you apply alcohol/sanitizer if the sink is far of reach.

Just by looking at this it look like it can be painful. I have to have one but she told me that I would be asleep when it is inserted. I am having a full hysterectomy and my ovaries removed as well on September 28, 2022. Please respond I am afraid.
