As this falls under medication administration, another ID check should have been done on returning with equipment, failure to do so leads to a fail. Call bell should also be left with the pt when you go to prepare.

Hi Karin. No need to do another ID check after preparing the equipment. It’s not part of the marking criteria. We follow what’s written in the marking criteria. Of course, you’ll double-check it in the ward/real setting. Also, you only have 12 minutes for this station, and the prescription chart is longer than what we’ve shown in the video. Good luck 🙏🏻

Yes, including NG and Braden Scale. The New OSCE will include blood sugar monitoring, pain assessment, female catheter insertion,stoma bag change

You are reading the drug chart same with the implementation station. The assessor will give you instructions. This station is now 12 minutes

I have a query, as we are aware OSCE are done on mannequin , and examinar will reply you as a patient so if they say it's painful,while you flush/push iv cannula? What are you supposed to do then?

Hi, according to the nurses who took the exam more recently, they said none. The VIP chart is actually easy to remember, and take note that for you to be able to flush a cannula, the VIP score should only be either 0 or 1. Best of luck

HI Emer, Thanks for the video. May I know where should I dispose the used NS syringe, should it be clinical waste bin or sharp box? And what kind of rubbish should we put in the household bin rather than in the clinical waste bin?

A needleless syringe should be discarded in the yellow bin, Same goes with a pre-filled syringe. Syringes with needles of course should go in the sharps bin. Good luck

Hi sir emer. Ask lang po based sa red marks ng vip for osce it's a fail when you break sterile field. Equipments are all clean and not sterile, but they ask to put it in the bottom shelf of the trolley like we are doing antt. even the procedure is clean technique. Pano po Yun?

Hi, please help me with the following questions, 1) When you book for OSCE will they tell you the one you are taken, because some people have got to the exam center to meet New OSCE while the are suppose to take old OSCE. (2) How do you identify the old OSCE skills and APIE, and how do you know the New OSCE Skills and APIE.

You will sit the new toc if you have already started an application but haven’t sat any attempt at either the CBT or the OSCE before 2 August 2021 or you start a new application on or after 2 August 2021. Hii please reply me I failed for vip score because after cleaning the medicine port for 30 seconds and dried for 30 seconds I kept the line giving medicine there and I went taking my IV flush.so they mentioned it again contaminated with patient hand .so how can I give flush and clean port at a time .and also the clinical waste bin is so long from me to put used alcohol swab.so is it ok can I put in clinical tray and later discard to clinical waste
