That's why he mentioned it might take up to eight times because the first times it might not work. Personally on my second or third try it worked, just keep pushing the button till it lets you

open your file manager then go to its configuration menu > about , deactivate the recommendations there too :)

The ads would be permanently disabled if all the steps are followed, though I'm not sure if that would change in future MIUI software updates. But so far it hasn't happened.😊

i tried 30 time revoke msa on my xiaomi mi max 2 and it doesn't work. If there is no internet connection it won't able to toggle the button at all also. So ya your method doesn't work on my phone

Hi, sadly, the best you could do is to keep on trying to revoke msa on different occasions, as I've heard of cases similar to yours, only to work after numerous tries. It would also be good to note that msa can only be revoked with an active internet connection. Hope this helps!

I don't think it will, as mine has been off on other MIUI devices I've had for months now even after several updates, although I'm not sure if that may change in the future. Haven't encountered a single issue after disabling MSA, and no ads were to be seen. Hope this helps! 😃

Hi, in my opinion, as long as you're not using Xiaomi's apps, it won't be an issue at all. Before knowing how to disable ads, they didn't really bother me as I rarely use Mi applications. Hope this helps!

The fact the a brand-new, full-paid phone comes with built-in ads right out of the box is utterly offensive and downright disrespectful towards consumers. But is not as preposterous as all the complex and ridiculous maneuvers one has to endure in order to partly disable the spamming amount of vicious, useless apps. Having said this, Google shoud stop giving away Android licences to just any phone manufacturer and start advocating for user's privacy for once.
