Remove and replace a faulty furnace blower motor

Good job and the old motor did call for a 5uF cap on the label at 12:17. I keep a list of part numbers and take pictures of all DYI replaceable items on my HVAC system just in case I have to do something like this and I watch videos like this as a refresher since I don't do theses things everyday.

At 19:00, u mention that its been serviced in last several years. Why would this area be serviced? Did motor fail prior? If so would seem to be something else causing motor to fail prematurely.

A few years ago we had a critter get into the intake pvc that had to be cleaned out which forced them to take apart the blower cage. All that being said the furnace is 20 years old.. lots of years of dust working into the bearings
