I watched your video yesterday and thought it was brilliant! We have a German shepherd dog and cleaning his dog hair is a real struggle! I sent my husband out to pick up a squeegee and he couldn't find one. So, while I was picking up from supper, I saw my silicone oven mitt and tried that. It was the most amazing and satisfying experience! One swipe and the hair is gone!

So pleased to have selected this video, my estate car has been used for dog transporting for 8 years and I had considered buying all new carpets and side trim, after watching this I went to my garage and cut up a window squeegee…….it was like a miracle, it worked brilliantly, the hair was so thick on the carpet you could not see what the original colour, I didn’t even move in one direction, I went back on forth and clumps of hair were removed..well chuffed…..

a combination of a steam cleaner with odour neutralisers can work great. You can also buy some cans that you set off in the car and shut the door which breaks it down but not entirely removes it 100%. great video topic i will certainly cover in more detail

We have 2 labs and a golden and our boot is lined but after a trip down the ocean, somehow, those sneaky dog hairs manage to get absolutely everywhere. I usually vacuum and then put on rubber gloves which takes ages but this wiper hack seems so much easier. We have a Geely Coolray sport model car (unfortunately not available in the UK but check it out, it's unbelievable value for a Chinese car) and they didn't spend a lot on carpeting, I suppose to keep the price down and the carpets are like dog hair magnets. I will definitely try this wiper method next time. Many thanks for the tip and all the other videos.

Another thing that works really well, especially for longer hair or fuzzy thin hairs like cat hair or undercoat is… (drumroll)… a damp sponge. The hair will form little rolls that felt together and get easily picked up by the vacuum cleaner. For those short, spiky little hairs (short-coated dogs) you will need the squeegee or a lily brush, or anything slightly stiff but rubbery.
