Remove Gemini / AI results from your default search engine in Chrome

These AI tools are trash for most of their proposed uses, and worse they are extremely resource hungry, steal content from real producers/ artists/ scientists/ etc., and they are being forced onto us without consent. Thank you so much for the simple work around! Everyone should know about this.

Hi thank you so much, it's funny to see people here from 1 day ago etc.😂 I think the 'experimental(🤦‍♀️)' Gemini search results are increasing. However😢 your trick worked on my desktop chrome on my laptop... though I'm trying it on my default chrome app on my android phone and doesn't work. The links don't work [they each lead to '404 not found', and '%s' in the Google search bar] - and even in my account settings, the search engine pane just leads to the main search engine sites, and there aren't any other options (i.e. no site search editing options, or options to edit the addresses of the default browser being used:(. Have you got a solution for this? Mwah

yeah the only search I got out after i set the udm=14. man it was funny bc gemini was still there almost begrudgingly it removed itself off the top of my results . I can understand wanting to make a showing for itself anything that takes up space or has mass has a being so even if it's programing somethings there . having gemini as well as acess to that internet . it was like a knowledge orgy

Can't believe how invasive this ai was, it was infecting my searches with ai generated filth that gave no real conclusion. Or was just wasting time by filling up the paragraph with links or explaining the thing I looked for. I've tried Ublock but I don't wanna touch it considering googles stance on Ublock and how I can't get it back as an extension if I do something to it. Even with Ublock working to block out the ai it somehow got through until I found this video. Im so mad because I wish I found this sooner.
