TK that is an Amazing Factory! it's the sanding painting fishing steps between each step can't be done by machines or robots people have to do it even after a PLEK job on you frets a person will have to crown & polish the frets. Make's you appreciate the Asia craftsmanship from all these Asian workers making guitars for dirt cheap & some times better than many USA made guitars imo. Just because you got it "cheap" don't mean that many people didn't worked carefully on that guitar to make it perfect as a USA UK guitar as far as finished & fit & succeed . Ok maybe the electronics aren't as good but thats not building the body & neck finish work the Guitar many are making decent parts now. I love to see anyone building instruments. You should always use a sanding block sponge dry or wet sanding paper yer fingers will make surface uneven.

Amazed by how quiet the factory seems in all of these videos. Were you shooting video after hours? You would think the factory would be full of people working on guitars.

The factory is huge - everyone was at their stations working ... it's far from the stereotypical factory where everyone is crammed in a small space. So, yes, it looks empty, but a 360' view, you'd see people at their stations doing their thing. And, it is pretty quiet there, oddly enough. Very modern. Even the CNCs and machinery is sealed off by sound enclosures. Very green, very modern - and off the grid, which is crazy!!

Same as a car..Newer cars have a basecoat clearcoat system and you can sand out the scratches and buff as long as its in the clearcoat..

We all know that Framus does these videos for marketing and exposure to the internet... but man, they didn’t had to go all the way they do here. It really shows that it’s also to share their craftsmanship and to let everyone knows how they do it. No big corporate secrets here, just a huge attention to details to reach high quality expectations on every instruments.

Is it true that Warwick uses the most advanced technologies in guitar industry? Many brands use the advanced technologies just for decreasing the cast of production But eventually Warwick wants to reach the best quality whether by hand or by advanced machinery

No sanding block? Just fingers?

I wouldn't suggest doing that either even tho is 2000 grit I always use a flat sanding sponge covered in what ever sand paper on flat surfaces otherwise you get an uneven finish.

He mentioned at the start that they normally use a machine and he was just using his hand to show them.

@@ViviSectia Just saying some may have missed that note. I wish I knew that small but effective tip when I first started finishing wood / fiberglass / steel parts & painting objects. After building my 1st couple of model rockets to have them crashing because of uneven sanding on fins taught me. Also sanding fiberglass parts for $200,000 vehicles , I learned when to use block or by hand that's takes time to sand by hand evenly. Happy Finish Work!
