I love how this dermatologist is extremely transparent, thorough, with an amazing teaching application. I would like for her to talk more about PRP or PRF injections under the eye area. I have done it myself, and it seems to be a success. I wish she lived in the Dallas area. She would be my dermatologist whom I would visit monthly. I also considered starting using her skin line, I am hoping for a great outcome.

Hooded eyes are very common, they can be from aging, ect. But hooded eyes aren’t horrible thing like ur making them seem. Don’t feel insecure watching this video their not bad unless it’s effecting ur vision or completely destroying your confidence i say rock them. I read somewhere more attractive women have a lil extra skin on the eyes since they don’t look as “scary”. ❤
@SujeitChacon10 ай бұрын
This helped answer so many questions I didn’t know I had. 😅 I honestly feel more confident in finding a Dr. and going in to seek treatment for my hooded eyes. But also the different things I can try before going the surgical route. I can understand when it’s an insecurity or something you haven’t fully embraced, that this video can feel like it’s negative about hooded eyes. We have to remember though, this is her profession. She’s telling us what we need to know about hooded eye treatments, if we’re seeking it. She’s not going to deter you. Of course, you don’t need any of this, if your hooded eyes aren’t affecting your vision or straining your eyes. And I personally don’t advocate for most surgical procedures to be done when we’re in our 20’s (maybe even early 30’s) and think we should push the youth to learn to love themselves the way they are first before they choose to make permanent changes. It’s great she, Dr. Kappel, gave us a plethora of options to choose from that aren’t just surgery and/or claiming all eye creams/serums don’t “do anything/much”.

Thanks for the tips, I wasn't bad to begin with thanks to VitaminC and freulic acid serum. Sounds weird but after holding serum on brow bone for a minute, I use a hair diffuser on my dryer and go back and forth over my eyes, your eyes will feel so tight after. Now I'm doing fraxel on upper eyelids I treatment a month for 3 months and I'm good just keep using the c serum every day.

i got an asian upper bleph, using a stitch in the eyelid. localized numbing did not work on me, i felt everything so i had to go get it done under general. so when you say it’s quick and easy, i wouldn’t say so for everyone. i felt every poke. that’s why i needed to be asleep. my eyelids were very prominent and swollen for over a month for me. the final change was pretty minimal. the skin on the eyelid is thin enough that the scars, in my case, go away after 3 months if you use anti-pigment cream. the scar isn’t noticeable. i would definitely go get the full surgery if i could, but i’m happy enough with the results of the asian stitch. i’m not asian. but it was $2,500 (plus $500 for the anesthesia). so it was a good price for me. but yeah $8,000 for an upper bleph some time in the future.

Jennifer Lawrence looks like she can see straight through everyone's bullsh*t... probably part of the reason she got the role of Katniss Everdeen. I'm not saying don't tweak 'em if you really want to, just know that hooded eyes are unique and beautiful and are not inherently a flaw.
