Hi there! I recently purchased RPG Maker MZ and have been watching your video tutorials. I have to say thank you and appreciate all your help. It's been a fun summer project starting my own indie horror game. I hope you keep making tutorials. I love the fireball tutorial! For my game, one feature I'm looking into is on how to add a gun system with a clean reload mechanic. If you need any tutorial ideas, maybe that could be a cool one since a lot of horror games use projectile reloading. It might be quick.

Shame this doesn't work if you're using VS's MainMenuCore :/ was hoping to use their alternative layouts it offers while not using this useless information. It's more a shame you cannot selectively remove it too I have a character in a game who never has MP but they have to have an MP bar which is super annoying, the rest of the party has one so this sort of thing doesn't work. Both of these things driving me nuts!

I don't know if you solved this or not, but for others who may be struggling: to do this with the Visustella menu core plug-in you can't put // or delete the code, you need to write something to hide it. Like this: this._statusWindow.hide(); this._goldWindow.hide(); if you search this line of code on google you'll find a question in the rpgmaker forum with the proper code

Thanks so much!! This was immensely helpful. The only problem I encountered was getting rid of the level number, the word "level" disappears properly when I comment out the "level part" but, a number 1 is still there for some reason. Also, the TP bar doesn't disappear when I comment that out either. Think my PC is being wonky, though maybe.

And update on that... it's because I was using a plugin that was interfering with it, turned it off and it's gone now. Phew.

for that all you need to do is find types in database and remove Magic option from the list or just change skill types to 0 Also make sure when you delete the Magic option you remove it from your character sheet as it will still show a empty box where the magic option would have been while in battle.

It's tied into the TouchUi which can be toggled on/off in the menu. If you would like touch to remain enabled, you can find the image in it's game folder->img->system->ButtonSet. You would have to edit the image to remove the icon

The menu icon is linked to the touch ui. If you would like to remove it, turn off touch in options when test playing as opposed to new game or continue

Someone else might be able to reply better but try the same script and ctr+F for the similar verbiage. Will probably be a bit of trial and error but as long as you undo what doesn't work, you won't break your game. Be sure to make a backup or use a test project. Good luck!

is there a way someone could use an in game event/script to add and remove the menu commands? I am working on a project that is set in "modern times" and "fantasy times" and in modern time they don't need to see items HP MP etc but in fantasy time they need all that back again

@@TheOdie ah I thought maybe it would recognise what "actor1" was set to name wise lol switch was the general idea but I need to write it so that it re-instantiates the menu when the "switch" is used that's where i am banging my head against the wall lol
