How amazing is the Joico Color Eraser? It seriously blows my mind on how fast this stuff works. It removes the toughest direct dye in under a minute, saving our clients hair from damage and stressful processes!

This will lift natural hair color like regular lightener does. So be careful when applying and work fast with gloves because it removes color very fast. If someone is wanting to go back to a normal blonde color, you will be dealing with a color correction. Don't be fooled by thinking it will come out and go back to looking perfect! I've used this on my clients and love the results with the products I've worked with. If you aren't a licensed professional I don't EVER recommend doing you hair yourself!

Betsy Vas On blue or blue/green hair what finally worked was a few treatments of one part each plain Castor oil & a shampoo with salicylic acid such as Nioxin 2 cleanser shampoo, T-sal by Neutrogena, head & shoulders clinical solutions (there are many more) I had damaged Bleached hair level 9/10 and couldn’t get semi dye out. Did a few 10 min treatment with this combo and it worked. Disclaimer: I’m not a professional or trained stylist. I just mess with my hair too much.

Wow, that process was fast!! I have not used the Joico color eraser yet but have used something similar by Malibu. It worked pretty quickly, but not this quick. I love how bright blonde you got her! Beautiful results, Alexsis! 😊

I JUST used this on my daughter's pink (manic panic) hair and it definitely did not lift that quick. Plus her hair is still pink, after we let it process for 30 minutes. I'm so bummed. She has a prom this weekend and I need to get this color out!

One thing I am curious about is whether or not it makes a huge difference if you use THEIR 20 volume developer recommended on the package. A girl working at cosmoprof said it didn't matter and sold me a more inexpensive brand that she said she had used and it worked... thoughts? I really want to get this out of my hair~!

+viyavictoria it depends on what was used. This is only for direct dye. And going to blonde is a process that takes time and the correct hair care!

no, this will just remove colour, either use a blonde hair dye like highlight touch up or smth or get a purple shampoo (toner)

Hi I tried to use it for my green blue manic panic and it only worked on the lower tips of my hair. The more towards my roots I went the less it worked. Oh but it did bleach my near black roots somehow. TLDR; it MIGHT work if you fade it out A LOT. (My tips were very faded and the top half was where the color was strongest)

+SimplyCindi this only works on direct dye and semi permanent dye. If your working on permanent you need the Pravana color remover. Oxidative dyes work differently thus they need a different chemical process to be removed.

I've been struggling with my blondes lately. The shades eq's (variety of 9t, p, v & n) aren't giving me the blonde results I had been on the same heads of hair. The ones that come in regularly with roughly 1/4" regrowth seem to blend the best with the bleach. But when there's more the blondes aren't matching up and the toner isn't looking the same on the midshaft to ends. Can there be toner overload after many applications? One more ? These that I'm referring to are the ones that want all over blonde not highlights. So I'm talking it's been over a year that we've been doing this (using olaplex) Had a new one and she had weaved in darker pieces that didn't lighten at the same rate of course as the prelightened pieces. I'm wondering if it'd be best to just weave in some lowlight blonde pieces and they're not matching. And it'd be impossible to go through the entire head to pick out just those pieces. Sorry for the really long message. I have pictures too (but can't add those here)

Say what??? How did you do that?? I dyed my hair dark blue like 2/3 months ago and it stained my whole Shower bath and apartment. I didn't know that It was a hair stain so I tried to wash it out for an hour and than scrubbing my shower for 2h. Now I been trying to get it out and use that joico eraser twice but my hair is still minty green blue and yellow plus my roots are brown and showing quit a lot. I just don't get it how did you even get her to that blond because I would love to get my hair like that.

I want to try semi permanent fashion colours but am afraid of how my hair will look once it starts to fade. I was thinking of a purple. I already have blonde balayage and dark roots but also fragile hair. Is there any brands you suggest for a good fade? I don't want to have to use a colour remover and damage my hair more or loose the nice balayage my stylist did.

Its like bleach, but different. Regular lightener drives the color INTO the hair, this actually removes it!
