I did this today and it worked great. The only thing I would suggest is using a stick of wood to tap it loose rather than the pliers which can heat up.

You hear the metal more than the glass, it doesn’t get hot enough to explode.

It's a Heat gun. Blows very hot air.... Kind of Like a hairdryer on steroids

newsgetsold You’re not applying extreme heat to the glass, just enough to soften the glue. As long as you use caution you won’t have a problem.

🔝job there Phil this is exactly what I wanted to see this is exactly the issue I have was looking to resolve unfortunately I don't have a heat gun but it's soaking in some very hot soapy water right now and if by tomorrow that hasn't helped I'm going to try and acquire a heat blower or some sort thanks very much nice one👍🏼💯
