Remove password from any Microsoft Word document + Office 365 (Very simple)

This video demonstrates how you can easily remove a password form any Microsoft Word document. Convert a word document to xml and remove the enforced protection.
This works for all Microsoft Word versions, the latest version of Word, and office 365. Microsoft Word 2016, Microsoft Word 2022. It also works for all older versions of Microsoft Word , including Word 2010.

what is the file is protected from reading to begin with. i can't open it to save it to XML or any type of file.

It only works for editing restricted only. I lost password. I saved the documents in word. When I try to save it to rich text format. It asked me password. The save us is inactive.

I could not find the word "Protect" when converted to xml and having opened with notepad. Am using MS Word 365.
