I love electrolytic process, have restored a fine engraved GEDORE toolcase that belonged to my grandfather without harming the engraving. WHat I like best is it doesn't harm a molecule of good metal. it is a line of sight process so better to have some sacrificial rods in each corner.. or you will have to keep turning the piece once in a while

@@Fredholm2 it is so easy, I don't even fuss much doing it, even works with cheap bicarb of soda in the water. I use a filled old kitchen rubbish bin... best leave it outside while working to stop the hydrogen gas tarnishing your shiny stuff around the house/workshop.

The gas is HHO2, or "Brown's gas".

I use a wire wheel but thats painful and messy lol
