Just came back to thank you man. This plugin is BRILLIANT. Ive always had a problem with ear piercing esses (my mic picks up alot of them) and it has been a barrier for making music for me. Im so happy i found this one today. Ty

Thank you for your detailed explanations in your video. For someone just starting out, I'm often not aware of what the technical jargon actually means, it's just a wall of words that makes no sense if you don't have some kind of sound engineering background. You breaking it down means a lot. I've watched probably 8 other videos and gotten lost in the techno mumbo jumbo. Yours was the first where I understood what I was doing and then was actually able to do it. Really appreciate it. Thank you again!

Mine doesn't sound any different. No matter what I do with the knobs the sound remains the same.

I wanted to ask.....if you use the same microphone in the same room under the same/similar conditions, then your sibilance frequencies should remain pretty much the same, correct? So you could set up a preset for something like this. Then maybe check it every now and again to see if there are any vocal or room/mic changes that may have altered the frequency.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but my de-esser just isn't hitting as hard as yours. I'm getting it to reduce by about -24, but not anything lower than that. If I reduce the gain, it lowers it, but then it's like taking a contant EQ to my voice and makes it sound like I'm speaking through a cheap phone.

weird, stacking it twice fixed it

Hi. Can I use TDR NOVA twice in OBS to one De-Ess audio and to function as a dynamic equaliser?
@JoeJacksonJr3 жыл бұрын
Sure you can use it as many times as you need. Its common for people to stack them many times.

I use a Mac and for whatever reason I cannot get any of TDRs plugs to work in Logic Pro or Final Cut with Catalina.
@JoeJacksonJr4 жыл бұрын
Your not the first to mention having issues with Catalina.. Seems something changed with the latest OS and very likely will need to wait until TDR releases an update. I recommend contacting TDR about the issue as they may have a work around.
