This was helpful. I had a mirror that had a lot of residue that I couldn't clean off. I got some methyl hydrate from Home Depot and it cleaned it off perfectly.

Thanks, I have used coconut oil on glass bottle labels to loosen them as well. I did use Goo be gone on my acrylic bathtub to remove stubborn tub caulking but still had to use a metal scraper.
