That really took some work! I have a suggestion - Someone else on YT placed stretching cords across the 2 holes much like you see inside a traveler's notebook. The beauty of the cording is that you have the option of it through the middle holes of the HP rings. It stabilized the planner AND hid any damage occurred from dismantling the binder rings. Thanks for sharing creative options.
@Thepaperandpengirl6 жыл бұрын
Ohhhhhh, thats a gooood idea. I will have to search for that and keep it as an option. Thank you for the suggestion. See you on the next video.

I bought 2 of these planners when Michaels had them on sale. I did this method on the first one but on the second one I took needle nose pliers and smooshed the 2 metal prongs together and took a small drill bit and drilled through the metal tops slowly to take off the ring part. I love how you finished the empty holes :)
@Thepaperandpengirl6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. I will try the drill technique when I have another binder to de-ring😀. I previously tried stickers, washi etc but they wouldn't stay or look how I liked it. See you on the next video

Nicely done. Once I lift the sides up I usually get my heavy duty wire cutter and cut the bottom off. Then pull it all off. So much easier and prevents the scratches. To cover the wholes I get a piece of leather (you can find them in the leather section at Michaels, right after the beading section. And you can pic6your colors too) and after cutting it to size, I glue it down with E6000. You can even add leather cording around the sides of the piece of leather to give it a more sophisticated look. The leather color can either match your background (gray in this case) or your cover (black in this case). Once again thanks for an awesome video. Love it! 😍💖 Nicely done

I literally just bought the halo graphic one yesterday at Michael's with all the 70%, along other discounts, topped off with 20% off total purchase. 4 full bags and I only spent $33.53. Were are so in sync. Back to the topic, I was going to look up one of these videos, however, you've got me! Have a blessed and safe day! You can go to Michaels and get the same color grey paint pen and go over the black marks lightly. Or next time put heavy tape around the metal post holes so it wont nick the cover whole working and once done take the tape up.Nicely done!

Oh dear. My Carpe Diem binder is a toughie. Cannot get the bolts out at all . All I end up doing is bending the inside piece of metal and I'm afraid I'm going to cut the leather. GRRRR! Help! ....edit....had to cut the leather around the bolt with my x-acto knife. Will have to glue it down and then cover with duct tape. :(

@Thepaperandpengirl6 жыл бұрын
Tooth pulled, omg, lmbo. This cover gives you more room than the Happy Planner cover does. The Happy Planner one can only expand so much to fit all the stuff we put in our mini planners to make them "chunky" lol. I hope that helps, see you on the next video.
