That plug below the dryer is a code violation for sure. Should be a GFCI at the very least, but in any case it's dangerous.

I have a feeling this was removed because it sounded like the motor was on its way out I’ve found 3 of these dryers and personally I love them, they dry pretty fast, and in my experience I find them no louder than a .8N Xlerator

@@handdryers_4u It is a rebranded KW-1000 after all, and that does make a little sense, but if noise bothers you, you can always put some headphones on to dampen the noise a little
