Hello again, from Ottawa, Canada! Many years ago, a buddy of mine, who had beaver problems annually in his drainage ditch, told me that a little liquid dishwashing detergent (The kind one uses to wash dishes by hand) upstream from the lodge/dam will get rid of the beavers, since it would take the oils out of their pelt. Only a little is needed to scare them off, so it's not going to destroy the environment. Note that the brand "Dawn" in North America won't work well. That's the brand rescuers use on birds and wildlife who have been exposed to oil spills. It removes the crude oil but hardly affects the natural oils. Of course, if you do this everywhere, you won't have many beaver dam removals to video until possibly a year later.

Once again I love how you worked on the front of the dam first. What ever happened to that drill you made a year or so ago? It would have been fun to see what would have happened (if anything) if you had used that after getting rid of the mud on the front of the dam.

Are beavers considered a nuisance animal in your area since they have if any predator to limit their population. I know they are a native species but they can quickly overpopulated if not predation is present
