Removing ABS PERMANENTLY on a Jeep Cherokee XJ

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have a 94 jeep Cherokee xj. Upgraded mine with disk brakes and looking to upgrade the rear axle as well. But now having hard time with the abs removal. No front brakes at all.

Well I've got some kinda white whale of a YJ that actually HAS factory ABS. I've got an 8.8 rear axle that im gonna be swapping in and i knew id have to delete the ABS for that, but now the module is in the way for my new fenders so its coming out tomorrow. Thanks a ton for this info, it was a PITA trying to find a proportioning valve, so after watching your video im headed to my junkyard for a "new" one. I also wanted to say you KILLED me in this video after you finished the passenger side front install with your comment: "Well, i aint gonna lie, that sucked! And it aint exactly pre-bent anymore..." Can't wait to experience it first hand.... 😂

what fuse what fuse do you pull to turn the abs light off

Hey Jimmy .. just a question so when changing the pro valve mine is 91 xj abs so there is 4 brake lines so just wondering how do I sought that thing out ?do I need to put a tee to make it 3 lines ? In pro valve there is only three ports to insert the fuel lines rest two goes to master cyclinder.

The proportioning valve should have 2 ports going in and 2 ports going out

@@JeepinJimmy thank you so much for your reply So 2 port goes to the master cyclinder 2 goes to the front brake And then m left with just one port and two rear brake lines.. so do I need to do any amendments for the rear ? Thank you

did air trap in the ABS module when you bled the brakes ?

I think air seeped in when I was changing the master cylinder and had all the lines off
