In some older videos you installed gutter edge that snapped in place and then you fasten with some screws. This appears to be a different product. Why did you switch you said better, or just more economical / easier to install? I assume both of them just work by providing a drip edge. Is that correct?

If I put on perforated gutter guards that screw on front lip of gutter does this fasten on top or underneath of the gutter guard

No, It's an actual product, "Gutter Edge" attaches to the top edge of the gutter. Gutter Edge has an adhesive on the bottom to hold into place. Gutter Edge Eliminates the gutters from oxidizing(This CANOT be removed) only the effects and staining that is shown in the video. Oxidized aluminum means the clear protective finish on the outside of the gutter is GONE. Washing the gutters can remove the stains but will not put the factory clear protective finish back on the gutters. On Average Aluminum gutters last 7-10 years. With gutter edge aluminum gutters last a lifetime along with that beautiful high gloss shine. What is the front of the gutter shaped to look like?! Crown Molding. The last thing you want is your newly lined home with beautiful high gloss white Crown Molding to look stained and oxidized(Flat White)!

I don't understand what's causing the staining? If the gutters aren't overflowing in a the heavy rain, then it's not from water. Or is it?
