I love watching the removal of the skin! I wouldn't even think it would hurt them, or why would people do it? They have to have some help with the skin they can not get off of their bodies! Seemed like it felt relieving to him, or like you said, he wouldn't have been sitting there, so calm and relaxed. Btw he is very adorable!! 😍💙

I imagine it must feel good. That dead skin has to itch. That’s why they just sit there like “ahh yes peasant remove my expired exterior for me! Now feed me a grape!”😂

Exactly!!! that's how I feel! I feel like I'm taking them to the spa and then I have to edit it. And upload. Because many of the people understand that, and enjoy this content. Those views end up saving more animals. More views=more $ to spend on the care of more RESCUE animals. Vet bills, plus everyday care, of food, toys, lights, and the many many hours I spend with these animals. I really try to understand an animal from Their viewpoint and if they're bad or if they're being overexcited it's because of something that they're trying to tell us, To me it's, like a puzzle I try to figure out. So thank you for being smart and educated with your comments and... STAY RAD

Read some of the comments on the shed videos. Its always how would they do this in the wild, and this is torture and NEVER EVER should help because in nature they cant get help. And my retort is usually what do sheep do in the wild to cut their wool off? Why do they have dog groomers? and why even have Veterinarians? There is no Veterinarians in the wild, so if your precious animal was bitten by a rabid animal just let it happen "like in the wild" I try to not entertain these trolls but sometimes. I guess now it finally got to a point where I had to physically show. These people because they were not understanding it just by viewing so thanks for being educated and understanding STAY RAD

Oh, please. People are so ridiculous. As long as the shed is ready to come off, it’s fine. You’re obviously not hurting her, or she’d react!! You only cause problems if you’re pulling shed off that is still forming and you pry it off. She seemed quite happy you were doing some of the hard part for her!! 😊❤️👍🏻

That's exactly how I feel you and I have watched our dragons struggle for days Well trying to get the shed off. When it's as simple as helping. And for me it's a means to an end. It doesn't hurt them and it puts me in a position where I can adopt more rescues and give them a amazing life. Where they will actually understand love

She would definitely run away from you if you caused her the tiniest amount of pain. The shed is crispy and most definitely ready to come off.

@@ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons you go one better and rescue. You've spent fortune on helping when others have abused the animal. We know you and those Muppets can go troll somewhere else. Lol

I have geckos I have to help especially my daughter had he only had 2 full toes. The rest are numbs cause he doesn’t like to eat it. Then I normal check the other one to make sure they are good. Then we have 2 dragon and it all depends on if they feel like itching it off, bath, or they need help too. Normally the tails. Then I help with the eyes especially cause I don’t want them to hurt their selfs.

Bravo my friend. I can tell you are an amazing animal keeper and that includes love. I also will help, probably more than what is needed. But still never would do it when it would hurt my babies. I do it more often because of the platform of youtube and views and money. This is where it gets touchy because if I explain this to people. They're gonna say I'm doing it for views technically speaking. Yes but with those views I get more money and I'm able to rescue more animals which then turns into even more views and more subscribers which turns into. More money to more animals to a point where I could. Then go full time and start an animal rescue like. I want so I would never hurt these guys but I will do it and document it by taking them to their quote on quote spa but obviously you Know all this and are totally rad thanks for all the help knowledge and support

@@ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons i get worried with my daughters gecko cause when we rescued him he only had 2 toes and the rest on numbs so I had sure stuff is low or he can climb on it. He doesn’t like the help but he listens then his 18 year old parent. Cause near the end of me helping him he opens his month. I tell him to close and he does…

I don't think you're causing any discomfort doing that. You're being very careful. Sometimes they need a little help getting that off. And you're right they would walk away if it was causing any discomfort.

I never thought it hurt them, just worry inexperienced will try it and hurt their's. What I also wonder is how do they deal with their shed when wild? You said that the one you worked so hard to save how the stuck shed was some of its problems.

This is something I definitely concede to, and worry that people will imitate in the hope for views and will start a trend. Where undoubtedly dragons would end up hurt. I should put a do not try to recreate or imitate my actions. I don't know you "know you" yet I know you are a very educated person. I would say your successful and probably have gone to college. You are totally Rad to me. By being able to look at it from a viewpoint that actually has thought. Thanks and that certifies to me that I should put a warning at the beginning. STAY RAD

@@ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons I'm 68 years old I am educated by the school of hard knocks! I watch you do these shedding shows with thought and care I don't worry. I have learned that common sense is not so common. You can not bare the responsibility for the stupidity of others. It might be a good idea to protect yourself to add a disclaimer. I love watching animal shows and am a big believer in the prevention of cruelty to life people, animals, planet. So thoughts come to mind because so many watch KZbin and think they're experts. People need to be responsible and get advice and approach things with care. You are sweet and gentle with your animals. I don't put any doubts towards you, you are a responsible pet owner. Thank You for caring !
