It doesn't have to be that deep to get soaked unless you are one porky fella. Post 10 aint porky at all with the amount of exercise he gets doing this stuff. Easily less than a foot of water (to get soaked) I'd say, much less than some of the beaver dams he's drained before.

Make the logging companies pay to have the culverts checked and cleaned on a regular basis. They make millions and taxpayers are supposed to foot the bill. Those trucks beat the hell out of the roads and the companies have the equipment to do the job.. I applaud this guy because he cares about his community and we need a whole lot more people like him today.

My cousin cleans up culverts too. He uses Silky Saw to cut the branches into manage-able pieces. These pieces then become firewood for home during cold months. You should try using a saw too, Post 10.

Glad to see the lumberjacks up and at'em this summer; lumber and wood product prices have shot up into the stratosphere here! Here's hoping they have a good, safe harvest this season! If I did what you did...all that semi-stagnant, leach-infested, snake-crawling, bare hand on slimy rotten logs, and bugs, and fungus....I'd have to get out of my car when I got home and have one of those tent shower things set up with four hazmat ppl there to scrub me down with super soap and hot water before I went inside, and then burn my clothes. A bit too much of the outdoor "eeeeiiiiuuuu" factor for this city girl, so, thank you, Post10, for doing this for your community and for our hard-working loggers, because I wouldn't be able to.

Most people could find a way to do this work if we really wanted to, but we're just lazy. He finds it fun. But maybe there's stuff he's "too lazy" to do that we find fun. Probably not as useful though! 🤣
