Worked great, thank you! I found this video after taking the sprayer off and letting the hose slip back into the faucet. I was able to get the hose back out by pushing it up from under the sink. However, the brass connector was still back inside the faucet. To get it back out, I wrapped the end of the hose in tape to make the fit between the hose end and the connector more snug. Then I pulled the hose back into the faucet. When I pushed it back out this time, the connecter came with the hose since the fit was more snug. Posting this here because I was about to disassemble the faucet if the tape trick didn't work.

so happy to hear this. In the old days (aka when I was a kid and all you usually needed was a new 5-cent washer) you could repair things easily. But in today's world, we get sexy plumbing hardware, and we are usually advised to replace it - ouch! (My brother bought a fancy faucet for his powder room, and he was advised to buy a new faucet.) I knew I was taking a chance with my kitchen pull-out faucet when I bought it, but you have given me hope that the fixes are indeed possible even for a mechanical dunce like me. I watched the video and is very good. My question is, many new heads for faucets are available for less than $10.00. However they will not fit the hose you are using and mine is the same . About 16.5 mm. Everything they sell is called a G 1/2 , 20.5 mm or 13/16. I am having a problem locating a head for this hose and will try cleaning it.

My guess is the threads on the faucet head are unique to the hose so you can't buy a $10 replacement. You can probably buy a replacement head for the model of faucet you have.

Good video. I use an office binder clip instead of duct tape to secure the hose. A wire brush would certainly work well, but it can scratch the metal and leave marks on my oil rubbed bronze spray head, so I use the brush with the very hard, stiff plastic bristles from my wire brush set instead and the tip of a small safety pin to clear the spray holes. I just have one question. Why did you barely turn the water on to show low flow at the beginning and then turn it on all the way at the end? I was hoping to see a big difference at the same flow rate.
