Thanks a lot for the video - very very helpful - particularly with the wiring. Of note - just as you said it wasn't necessary to pull the speakers off of the tourpak, I found that if you just pull the speaker wire out of the speaker, the quick-release piece will come out, allowing you to disconnect even without removing the speaker covers (saving a few extra minutes along the way :-))

Nice explanation of the removal, but I would have thought that HD would have designed it so that this process could be done with some clamps and one or two connectors.

So I see you did all this what was your main reason? I was thinking of doing the same thing but replacing with a quick detach four point Sissy Bar and Stealth Rack I need to find a tag bracket?
