Tge ring around the bottom of the piston, is the oil control ring. Not a bearing. Good luck getting those dry sleeves out without a proper tool. Most shops bore them out until they are so thin you can collapse them with a screw driver. Then freeze and press new ones in.

Commented in another vid asking wat engine you have and in the first. Min or so I can see by the injector pump drive coupling you have either a mark 1 (vacuum governor) or mark 2 ( mech governor) engine. Must be millions of them in the UK. Shame Im in NZ or Id give you a complete running marine unit.. Anyway back to the video.

The Pistons have to come out through the top you'll have to undo the rod caps push the Pistons out through the top

I don't think you can use the bearing caps, or brackets in a different engine and Dana is right the pistons need to come out of the top

@@backdownontheboat6038 I don’t think I can send you pictures or videos directly, dose you new engine have the oil pump in the same place, if it’s in the middle or slung under the front of the crank it’s a later engine and the parts may not be interchangeable, those bearing caps are unique to that engine too
