I clean my mill when Im done with it or when I have to because I have filled it up. You are correct that you want to keep your test indicator inline with what you are measuring as much as possible. You can do a lot with the conversational controls, good job starting there. While CAD/CAM adds a lot of capability it is something else to learn unto itself. Fortunately there are a lot of tutorials for Fusion360. Your videos are coming out nicer than mine!

Cleaning is something that has been done very little on this machine before, so I want to get better at that! I have made some progress on CAD/CAM stuff since I filmed this... definitely some head scratching going on lol I have been learning Fusion360 mostly because I have watched a lot of NYCCNC and I have a Macbook. However, I will learn some Solidworks since that is what the students in my lab learn. VIDEOS ARE SO HARD!! Video editing has been a small-time hobby on and off over some years - I'm finally decided to put some focus (and $$) into getting better at it. I also just got a new computer which has made editing SO MUCH EASIER!!! I am in a situation where I am really learning on my own - I think making video will force me to learn faster (always get better when you teach/regurgitate info) ... I'm really relying on friends like you to HELP :) so thanks! I'm going to watch some of your stuff

Me also. I'm just feeling better when machine is clean and there is no sawdust on my hands or tool.
