Today while it may not be the most popular video, I need to remove the aftermarket radio from the buick Lucerne. I talked about selling this when I finished the SS and we are very close. In this video I show you how to remove the radio in your Buick Lucerne and replace. This process is the same if installing an aftermarket radio.

I just bought a 2008 cxl with a 3.8 could I just install a blue tooth head unit and leave the speakers? Or if I did speakers what would you suggest. Also do I need any adapters.

I am having an issue with my Buicks radio, it just turned off along with all the car noises. should I just jump to buying a new radio or should I try to fix it? I have already looked at the fuse, and battery. I have not taken the radio out yet to check the wiring. Any suggestions would be great.

All the sounds come through the radio. I would look at replacing.

The harness is so you don't have to cut the factory one to install

Do you know what the igition wire is not on the wiring harness. I bought a bad harness and it runs the ignition wire on the new head unit to nothing.

I inherited my mom's 2008 Lucerne...looks just like this inside. My issue is: the back speakers work fine. the front ones kind of ..don't. ONCE or twice they came on(had the volume way up) and startled the liver out of me.. it's almost like a loose wire or connection, I'm thinking... any suggestions ??? I'm 63 and don't have anyone to help..so if it might be simple..I could tackle it

Putting in a radio what wire is your power wire you had to hook up to as you know there is no red power wire from factory harness

Hey man. I've been looking into getting a new radio and speakers in my 07 lucerne. Do you have any videos or can you make one on like how you ran the microphone wire? And how to get all the wires to work without soldering? (I don't have a soldering gun nor do I know how to even use one). Would be greatly appreciated

I actually sold this or I would. Use good crimp connectors for wiring. Microphone goes behind trim on driver side. You can tuck in behind the door seal.

I've got a double din radio in my Tahoe, you might need to cut the aluminum dash support depending on the size of the radio. Just a heads up.

I'm having trouble with the Bluetooth and door alert on my 2011 Lucerne. They started sounding very muffled most of the time. Occasionally, they sounded normal. Over the past several months, normal sounds are very rare. All the other sounds are great and seem to be coming from all speakers. I am curious about the little black device you mentioned that you used with the aftermarket system. What would you recommend to troubleshoot and fix the problem? Your video was great.

If it has an aftermarket radio that black box is for the chime noises. If not I would say your speaker is shot
